Terms of Use

Welcome to ChatNova AI Chatbot! These Terms of Use are the ground rules for using the app. We've kept them as plain and friendly as we could, but they're still a real agreement between you and ChatNova AI Chatbot ("we," "us," or "our"), so please give them a read. These Terms are effective as of 2026-10-29.

Agreeing to these terms

By downloading, opening, or using ChatNova, you're agreeing to these Terms. If they don't sit right with you, that's okay, but please don't use the app.

Your permission to use ChatNova

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ChatNova on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the Apple App Store's rules. This licence is for your own personal use. It doesn't give you ownership of the app, and you may not copy, resell, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute it.

Keeping things kind and lawful

ChatNova is meant for asking questions, following up on ideas, brainstorming, and putting your thoughts into words. Please don't use it to break the law, harm or harass others, create content that infringes someone else's rights, try to disrupt or overload our backend, or get around any limits or features of the app. If someone misuses ChatNova, we may restrict or end their access.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancelling

Some features may require a paid subscription or purchase. All of these are handled through the Apple App Store using Apple In-App Purchase. Apple charges your Apple ID, and subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, so be sure to cancel through Apple if you no longer want it.

Who owns what

The ChatNova app, including its name, design, software, and branding, belongs to ChatNova AI Chatbot and is protected by intellectual property laws. The messages you type are yours. As between you and us, you also own the responses ChatNova generates for you, to the extent the law allows. You give us permission to process your messages on our backend as needed to generate responses and run the app. You're responsible for what you type and for how you use the responses, including making sure they don't infringe anyone else's rights.

A gentle word about AI replies

ChatNova is a helpful conversation partner, but it isn't perfect. Replies can sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Please use your own judgement, and don't rely on ChatNova as a substitute for professional advice, such as medical, legal, or financial advice.

No guarantees

We put real care into ChatNova, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't make any warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, ChatNova AI Chatbot won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or its generated content. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.

When these terms change

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date. If you keep using ChatNova after changes take effect, that means you accept the updated Terms.
